Woodbury Basement Water Restoration
The Before Photo shows a water-damaged semi-finished basement in a Woodbury home. The gray water from the leaking washing machine was not noticed for several days. Mold spores, prevalent in most environments, germinated and were eating the thin-knapped carpet. Our AMRT applied microbial remediation technicians followed standard protocols and removed the section of the carpet as shown in the After Photo. Our crews are trained to complete a project leaving no extra moisture or hidden pockets of water behind. We dry the concrete pad slowly with many daisy-chained centrifugal air movers for several days. This process must be done gradually to ensure the concrete remains stable but dry. The LGR and air movers are now ready to be removed and a new carpet installed.
