Big Water Leak in Woodbury
The cupped hardwood floor planks in this Woodbury residence resulted from an unfortunate circumstance. The kitchen dishwasher pressurized water line sprung a leak and seeped into the joints while the family was away for the weekend. If our SERVPRO crew were called within hours of the spillage, mitigation would have been swift, with no visible damage. We set up drying equipment for several days to draw the residual moisture from the floorboards slowly to avoid splitting. With a light sanding, the cupped edges can be leveled (most of the damage returned on its own during the drying process.) We can spray an antimicrobial agent to prevent mold growth and finally reseal the surface, making it look "Like it never even happened."
